Well after a morning at Blairegowrie which resulted in one toady Dad and I went home rather disappointed  but then FC gave me a call and asked if I would like to accompany him to his best spot! How could I pass that by.
We arrived around 5:30 and waited and waited and waited by that stage at about 9pm everyone had left and it was just us two sitting and waiting. But then all of a sudden bang FC's Catana is bending over and that's when it started fish after fish I was easily out fished but holy crap was it fun!
I got a couple on my surf rod while FC couldn't keep them off his rod! After a while they slowed off and then we began waiting again next thing FC get's snagged and loses his sinker, as he is rebaiting his other rod gets slammed big time, I pick up the rod and set the hook and begin trying to reel in a fish left handed something I have no experience with but somehow I got it close to the edge and managed to lift her up and holy crap did it surprise me finding a 49cm Snapper on the end.
That was at about 12 so we decided to head off with our 13 pinkie in tow ended up with mine at 49cm a new PB :woohoo: and FC's biggest going 44cm we did lose one that would have been bigger than mine but it swam into a snag and didnt move
All in all a fantastic nights fishing!!!! :fish11:

Great work lads. I must get down to that spot again sometime soon, with less concussion and more fish.

How come there were only 12 fish in the photo? Turned out one was still wrapped in the cloth that was in my bucket. :-) it was too shy to pose for a picture.
