Hey guys,
A more local vid due to lockdown. Popped down to Port Melbourne for a morning chasing pinkies and was joined by Smokin Reels. Found plenty of bait and some fish on the sounders but it was reasonably slow going on the pinkies with only those who were finding schools on the sounder and working them over getting bites and each bite seemed to shut the school down for a bit.

Thanks for watching,
Cheers Alex

Re: Port Melbourne Pinkies
Great session Alex!
Enjoyed the vid mate. When your braid broke do you think that was a bigger size fish that you lost?
Can’t say I’ve ever hooked a small sting ray on a plastic!
Conditions looked awesome!
Cheers

Re: Port Melbourne Pinkies
Thanks LX, yeah the two I busted off on were better quality fish. At a guess I'd say they were somewhere in the high 40s.
I've jagged a few rays in the back woth trebled lures in the past but never hooked one on the underside. Not sure if it was trying to eat it or just happened to swim over my plastic
