How's Station Pier been recently?

First off hi to everyone, I'm new to the forum. I've been on others and this one seems to be where people are the most respectful
I'm going to be heading to station pier soon. How's it been fishing? Last time I was there(July I recall) I only managed 3 small salmon. Also, am I better off fishing from the smaller pier thing to the side of it targeting the supposed reef there or going out on the end?

last time I was there, the starfish were biting hard by the thousands. :lol: Not sure if the pinkies have arrived but I will drop by the area soon. Sorry, no fresh info.
