My esky is 40l and after one gummy and 4 snapper, I need to get a bigger esky or catch smaller fish. :dinner: :crazy: :fish11: :fish11:

Nice catches guys! Hopefully I'll be able to replicate that this Friday :D Did you catch that snapper on the rod you have in the picture Vinhii? Don't you need a big rod to catch something big like that?

Mate and I put in the effort to get up at 4am cup day, launched at carrum and were in 18 meters of water before first light. Water was flat and the air was warm... We started to pull up a few pinkies when the wind blew up from nowhere, it wasn't even in the forecast, boats starting zipping past from all directions racing for the safety of the river. It was the first time I've seen it change that quickly, gave my inexperienced skippering a good test but managed to get home safe... all up fished for 20 mins... very dissapointed

foodoo - haha thanks bud! that setup i have there is pretty overkill tbh so yeah lol.

voodoomagician - LOL!!! i know right!? hahaha nah his cool lmao we always troll each other even when we see each other for a fish bwahahaa!!

Fish-Cador - yeah totally!! but i havnt done it to these ones cause i have no damn freezer big ENOUGH! so it just went to the dinner table lol.

I was planning to use my friend's surf rod to try for the snapper on friday, but seems like I need to rethink my strategy. Probably use all my rods, just that I doubt I can cast far enough for the snapper to bite :(
