Do you guys reckon Port Melbourne bream is as "contaminated" as the Yarra/Marra bream, ie same fish moving up and down the estuary?

Would you eat it from Port/Willy/other bay spot?

Would say most fish are just fish that come down from Yarra and Nong and that's why the number increase in those areas after heavy rains.
Considering the slow growth rates of Bream that a 30cm fish is around 20+ years old I think it would be best to only eat a bare minimum of these fish as I'm sure the would be high in metal contents if you dare.

Station pier hasn't fired up as yet but i will let you know when it's all over [ just jidding] my great contacts will let me know how its fishing,and then i will be there twice a week catching Salmon,and then the Snapper later on at the start of October,maybe a bit before. You can park the car all day near by and put your tools on a trolley and warm up before you start fishing [bit of a hike]. The local fishermen there are very helpful.

Yeah that's the problem with high fishing locations, makes it difficult to get the catch back up.
