STKILDA Pier 1/4/17 with video

Hey all.

It was a great afternoon fishing yesterday. It was super windy but good for the bite. Managed a few pinkies and saw alot of fish caught, biggest probrably 50cm.

I also saw some poor guy loose his rod to a fish that decided it wanted to do a big run as soon as it noticed the hook in its mouth

I used to fish that pier for pinkies years ago. You know they are around when the pier looks like that. On average how big are they? 30-35 cm?

They were mostly between 30 and 40cm, the bloke next to me got a couple of bigger ones.

well done they fight well on light gear the guys put there rods on the ground and lockup there drag too much bang rod gone
