3/7/2106 salmon madness part 2.

Post by Lightningx » Sun Jul 03, 2016 8:31 pm

The missus and I were thinking of going to chase some squid today but after checking the wind in the spot we wanted to go we decided to give that a miss and chase some sambos.

Being a Sunday afternoon I expected it to be a bit crowded and it was, with plenty of people out spinning for them.
While spinning, on our left were samjas1316 and his 2 sons. I didn't know until we started talking. It was really good to meet you mate
Good to see the young kids catching!

We ended up with a total of 36 between the 2 of us.
Was nice to see you again FC. I'm sure you also got your bag of 20 on the other side where I usually cast :P

Great to meet and have a chat with the salmon slayer and his missus too. What a gun pair of fishos! I bet you can't wait for the snapper season.

Yea mate. I have to get my missus onto her first ever big red! Hopefully this season she will from the boat  I'm guessing you will be chasing them as well with the boys?

Thanks! How did you end up going today? I think from memory I remember you saying you were going to give it a go from the surf today?
