Wat a night in ST KILDA pier...

Post by Rustie » Sun Jun 19, 2016 9:33 pm

Last night was full moon.. wind was north west.... High tide was around 12:30am...

Me and my friend went down to to ST kilda pier for some gummy and snapper fishing.. 2 rods for gummy, gang hooks and whole sardine n 4 rods trying out for snapper on paterson rig.

around 12:40am... 1 of the rod reel screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............................. the rod went into the sea... hanging half way down the pier....

And guess what? lucky we had a dog leash holding the rod to stop the rod from going down the waters....

worst thing was.... my friend put on the whole sardine on the whiting rod with a 1000 model small reel..

the rod was bending like no tomorrow......... reel was screammming!!!!~even i tighten the tension..........

someone was shouting, its gone..... and someone said.... the rod is going to break!!!
everyone was watching.. around 20 people watching................

he was trying to go under the pier near the pylons......... he took a few dives... i was holding the rod like no tomorrow!!

And finally................... i made him exhausted........

there u go...

photos!!
