Lagoon Pier 1/3/16

Post by azaita » Thu Mar 03, 2016 9:24 am

Hi all. Fished Lagoon pier from 7:30pm until 11:30pm. Water was rough as first then very still by the end. Caught one undersize pinkie then one keeper at 32cm. The keeper was caught at about 9pm which was just before the peak of the high tide. Both fish were caught when the wind was strong. There were also a few undersize caught by others at the end of the pier.

Good catch mate I don't usually get success at lagoo n pier or know what the best time is but me personally thinks that Webb dock is kinda well better for snapper  :a_goodjob:

The problem with lagoon pier is if word gets out that some nice snappers were caught then the next day there are 100 rods there lol

I have caught plenty of nice pinkies from kerford pier either casting half way up the pier on the left hand side or 3/4 way up on the right hand side before the stairs to the landing casting straight out towards lagoon pier :)

I can't really compare but Medford road is quite good I've caught 2 undersized salmon and a pinkie once but have not fished since it was 45cm descent size did not take a pic of it but Webb dock I think it fishes better for snapper with more numbers of fish thanks mate and we will chat soon :-D :super:
