Caught up with a friend who I hadn't fished with for awhile targeting pinkies.
The weather looked good and I expected it to be a bit choppy. When I arrived it was just what I wanted to see.
I decided to use a larger rod for pinkies/ snappers, gummies and a smaller rod for some whitings.
Within casting the big rod had a hook up within a few minutes. A 35 cm pinkie. Action was constant over the next hour.
Ended up with 9 pinkies between 33-39 cm and 2 whitings.
All pinkies where taken on half Pillies and whitings on pippies.
In the pic there are only 7 pinkies. Forgot I had put the first 2 in the bag.
Cheers.
