Springvale market sell good fresh ones mate :) the ones from compleat angler are reasonably cheap at $9.95 for a 2 kg bag :) but I find that often not all are good ones you need to search through to find a good bag.

Yeah I've been fishing same time as lightningx.

Did get some decent size pinkies 35cm-40cm at low tide in the morning twice last week too though.

Caught the most fish off the end so far.

I get my Pillies at prahran market, they some times only have frozen though

You must be doing alright to get a spot the end of that pier, every time I go there or drive past it there is always someone fishing at the end of the pier. Nice catch btw :-D

The bend is quite good as well :)
