albert park lake

well with the GP coming up i will be spending most of my days at the lake.

i can only see the 1 designated fishing location on the map. inconveniently placed directly opposite where i will be.

has anyone fished the lake recently? or any tips,

(i will be only fishing to kill time when i have it free, mostly to avoid peak traffic on the way home.

I've considered having a crack at the big yellowbelly that are in there but it's just so busy all the time it turns me off. My physio is at msac so I spend a bit of time there - I've seen an old guy catch a really nice trout on bait and I always see heaps of really big carp cruising around in the shallows. People just seem to fish wherever they like so I wouldn't worry about that too much
