Pinkies at st kilda pier

Caught heaps of pinkies this morning off st kilda pier, they were biting as soon as the bait hit the water. Only had one big take, but lost it. hoping to catch a keeper tomorrow

Nice one mate...they're like bloody piranhas when they're thick in the water..think they would attack a bare hook at times.

Ahh yes the micro pinky plague! Always a bit of fun and ever now and again there is a decent fish in there mix! Well done and good luck on tomorrows outing

I was using pilchards, but they were getting stripped pretty quickly. I used squid and yellow tail today as well which lasted longer
