Hot Pinky session and a Gummy

Hi all, as usual I stayed home Thursday night 25-9-14 and let George (Brighton Bomber) go for a fish by himself to some new spot a customer of his told him about. From 4-9pm about 10 undersize pinkys landed and released. As low tide was approaching at 9.50pm and the water was now glass it was time to think about packing up. The next 2 hours or so was full on, rod after rod being whacked with 30+cm pinkys kept and many 26-29cm released. The bonus close to 11.30pm was a nice Gummy, gill to tail 55cm. I'd say full length around a metre. All up 7 pinkys 30-40cm and 1 flathead went home with George. Action stopped just after 11.30pm as the wind picked up. All fish landed on pilchards, 1/0 and 2/0 hooks. I lost out again by not going, when will I learn...Cheers.....

You said it R7, I wasn't thinking. The winter has made me soft, I stayed in my warm house instead of getting out there. No more. So many times over the last 2 years George has done a number on me when I haven't gone with him. No more fck it!!! :lolf: Gunna tag along from now on...
