Werribee / Altona after work.

Went out Yesterday after work with a mate and the missus...

Fished at werribee first went down a 4x4 track to get to this lil face cliff place..

had 3 lines in including my mates .. had afew nibbles but no takers..
Mate caught 1 banjo and then it went quiet.

Headed off and moved to altona pier... fished off to the right side.. i had a float with some squid on the bottom.. and to my amazement i saw a thick dark shadow under my float as i reeled it in , it chased it.. it then came clear to me that it was a big squid..

A bloke that was there jigging for squid for 5hrs gave up and left and soon as he left this big squid came.. i then quickly grabbed my jig out and he took it straight away, hooked him up nice and good lol..

Was quiet out there.. a guy told me that 2 good sized gummys were caught the night before.. so worth a shot..

hahah thanks guys.. yeah it was spitting abit but i braved it out

then it cleared up so wasnt bad hehehe

Weird thing was when i brought up the squid bait.. there was a chunk missing and i found it inside the squids mouth lol

It was quite incredible cause ive dived there and only ever seen just sand and no reefs there lol..
so was pretty amazed i caught one there :D

Not fully healed vinhii , but much better & am able to walk around alot easier now "thanks" .
