Had a ok morning off rocks with my mate catching his first banjo shark was 76 cm long.
We also got a couple baby pinkies squid bits as bait was doing well.
Chucked back the banjo as we dont know if there any good to keep or not, nor the size limit on em.
Always good to catch something though...

i returned something similar size the other day and saw other people hooked up banjos and chuck them back.. they are getting used to be hooked on and released as part of their everyday life now.. lol

I tried to eat a banjo. it really wasn't a very good fish at all lol. i see some of the Asians keeping them sometimes. They might know a better way of cooking them.

Ok glad i chuked it back then,
I did get told by a friend you could chop it up and use it as bait. (is it worth the effort for bait pieces) or berley
