Short session at Altona this morning
Went off Altona this morning. Nice calm conditions. Water temp. @23. Depth around 12 mtrs. Bites started almost immiatedly around 5am. Heaps of micro Pinkies. Managed 4 keepers and one flatly. All around 30 cms. At about 8:45 it all went quiet. Changed spots, still nothing. Thought try my luck at squid. Haven’t been very effective as some members of this forum no doubt will point out. But guess what 3 casts for three squid. ( it must be the new jig) white pearl. Nothing after that. Packed up and went home.

Re: Short session at Altona this morning
Good work, Altona is my most frequented spot just for convenience, 4 out of 5 times it usually is a fruitful trip. Plenty of flattys, some gummies and pinkies.
Good Berle is the go I reckon.
