Kayak fishing session at Werribee with video

Post by thebigal_au » Wed Dec 27, 2017 7:22 am

Hi everyone

Last week I went on a kayak fishing session with a couple of good mates. We launched from Weribbee and fished for 2 hours before the wind kicked into gear making the conditions choppy and unpleasant. Between us we caught several different species including several large flathead, small gummy sharks, snook, pinkies, whiting and those dam toadies. All were caught bouncing and slow rolling a range of soft plastics including z-man grubs, gulp worms, savage gear manic shrimp.

Yeah we weren't far out. Fishing in depths between 3m and 6m. many off the bigger ones caught in the shallower 3 meter sections.
Thanks
