Post by Born2fish » Wed Apr 19, 2017 9:35 pm

Headed out for a flick instead of a gummys session found plenty of bait about but no salmon I spotted what I thought was pillies on sounder so went smaller plastics to match the hatch boom reel screamed short runs then millions of head shakes well to my surprise it was a slimey mackerel so keept going and then big yakkas came on the chew once the bite stopped my mate put a jig Down and found a small calamari then we moved and found gars on the surface useing small squid peaces we landed gars
Bit of fun for 2 hours on the water sun set sesh hear is a pic of my catches
