I don't know about others but I find it's fantastic. But more expensive but now I'm using this one I can't go back to using the smaller ones.

Hope that helps you a bit 4L. The battery isn't too heavy and fits easily into a normal size back pack.
Got anymore questions I'm happy to help you out mate :)

Cheers,

LX.
Do you know what brand it is?

Those lights are way to heavy to use for prolonged periods. They are a great light, but far to heavy, compared to the other options available to us now days.

If you can find them, the best ones I have used look like the AA battery operated ones, but they run a 55w halogen down light, I used to have one but it went bye bye when I went away for a few yrs.
the aa battery ones are still ok to give it a go and cheap too. I currently use them for prawning and still manage a feed easily.

I've got a big car battery powered thing and the LED 'AA' battery one....love the lighter LED and does the job really well (although it only works when it submerged which can be annoying at times)
