Nice report; great feed.

In RE: drifting too quick, you can always tie a bucket and use that to slow the drift, or you can tie a dropper to the squid jigg rig.

But yes I agree, if you are drifting too quick, its a PITA!

At least you got onto some FH!

dont think tuna allows buckets in the boat, something about scratching his floor
you gotta hav a crack even if yr just pissin in the wind

I'm thinking of designing a new lure using a Ken doll and a miniature surf board to trawl for sharks. I think the idea has merit even though it is not in good tastes to the skegs but I think sharks will love it. :o_0:

What is the problem with drifting too quickly? Limited time in the good spots or lures won't work that well...or you end up hitting something? :)

Jigs/ lures don't get down deep enough, for long enough.
If ya find a patch of squid ya can anchor, n cast away, n little burly to keep them around.
