Took the kids and Mrs out today for a fish behind the footy ground in 9m of water, plenty of undersized flatties kept me busy unhooking and re baiting their rods for a couple of hours. Once boredom set in and the sou easter picked up we motored up the Yarra to the docklands for a bit of sight seeing and a soft drink. Plenty of fish in the river on the sounder with some big arches along the wharves near the Bolte. A nice day out.
Is this only for boats? Can we fish landbased in this spot? I tried looking at this spot yesterday with no luck

Good day out, wish my kids still liked to come for a fish. I have a promise that they come once a year, they do under suffer ancestors. Once there they usually enjoy, as long as Internet is available. World might end and they might not know until it was on Facebook.
