Werribee South Marina

Post by adbert » Thu Mar 05, 2015 2:39 pm

Based on Google Earth, Werribee South Marina almost completed (or probably completed already). Seems like lots of room for fishing. Has anyone attempted at the breakwall yet? Success stories?Image

If there are still building works going on they'll probably kick you off during the day.

I was there today walking the dogs with my misses, sign says marina opening next summer quite a few houses built I looked into land there but the blocks are tiny 450 to 500 sq m when fully complete certainly will attract fish with moored boats

No doubt, they'll kick us out if they haven't finished.

It would be a nice place to fish at night or very late afternoon, when the workers go home.I got told that fishing was not allowed till completion, and that was on a Sunday morning about 2 months ago.I dont know what the story is now,but i can't wait. This place is worth a fish.I might take a drive there on Friday morning and exercise my my new SLR camera.

I didn't think much of Werribee 27 years ago,but i got used to it.Just to go fishing it's only up the road, and am on the look out to buy a small tinnie,to go out just on calm days, and not too far.
