hi all just wondering if anyone has any thought on the hotties at Newport power station, been there a handful of ties and done no good at all??

Burley hard and it's likely you'll get some mullet, everything else is a perpetual maybe.

I hate the place. Doubt I'll ever go back to it.

Snaggy and the only real structure are the rock banks so locating fish is a very hit and miss affair.

you need to go when the hot water is running out that is early in the morning and from about 4-30 pm it is a peak load power station so look for the smoke

Hey mate,
I tried there and failed. I ended up moving further up the Yarra or out to port melb piers with more luck.

Nowhere is guaranteed for fish.
Been there maybe 5 times, caught flatty on 2 of those occasions. I like the place.
