Thanks for the report
Angling is the name given to fishing by people that can't fish

Not feeling the love at the docks ... Hmmm that didn't sound right...

Hooked two and dropped two yesterday morning and then donuts this morning. I'm tempted to not bother with lunch hour fishing .... Hot and typically no action. Fished forbidden places

And then to top it off .... I thought that my vibe had been picked up off the bottom and I'd been wrapped around a pylon... With a bit of climbing around managed to get an angle where the line released .. Felt a bit of weight but it was odd..... Turns out the Lure had been nailed by a rare turdfish....

I wouldn't want to spend any time on "Greggo's pole", guess I just don't swing that way..

Yep. I've had zero touches on any lunchtime sesh and had half a dozen of them. Just leaving dock 9 now actually - snuck in a quick one before work in place of lunch and nothing happening. Docklands seems pretty digital ... It's either on or off - and mainly off :)

Whilst I was there new signs were being put in ... Least it's not "no fishing" but wonder how they define "near" .... Mainly fish this spot as it's the closest spot to work with a decent number of pylons.

lol .. pretty close to it....

starting to think they are not that rare ... hooked into another one this morning... but it looked more like a big pink brain on the front ... might have to stop letting the lure hit bottom . :)

Beware...you have been warned...!!! ;)

That used to be my favourite Jewie spot. I haven't hooked a Jewie there for two years now, you're welcome to try it.

Cheers, Greggo

Ohh so thats you !!! Good stuff ! I regularly fish in that area. I hooked my last Jewie in that spot as well, around 70cm but couldn't lift him out. Hooked him on cheap 7/11 baby squid.

In relation to the signs, the problem is alot of fisherman around there get their hooks stuck in the ropes or .on boats etc. and the boat owners get their hands hooked etc as they are hard to spot. Also in some of the areas, people are actually paying to live there on their boats, so its like someone fish out on you front doorstep. But some of the boaties dont mind if you fish there. All depends.
