Gday heading down ther today to spend couple hours while the old boy gets his kemo done. Just wondering how SP's go down ther? I'd rather lure than bait.. is it worth even fishing mouth of the yarra? As I have no idea and try stay away from the city.. Albert park thow could be an option.
Cheers for any feed back n tips

bring some micro vibes, black is always a great colour down there, looks like a falling mussel for the bream.

If you changed your mind on bait - live bass yabbies , mussels or peeled prawn.
Otherwise sml worm type soft plastics bounced next to pylons or under structure.
This has worked for me. All released, I dont eat any fish from there.

I had a go for little over an hour for nothing. I was just jigging Berkley t tails but will give it another go when old man has a few appointments in a row again.
He was telling me thers an Asian every day making a mess on one of the jetties ur not allowed to fish on & just keeps coming back so they brought him a broom to clean up. That is terrible enforcement but what can u do I guess "no spekada English"

Small is the key for docks.
As per first post micro vibes are many an anglers goto down there and patto too.
If your up for using bait zero weight is the key, I usually use a resin head as the weight helps on the cast but not effect the sink rate.

the small metal blades are also pretty good down there recently with the cold weather. the bream are feeding deep so you want to get all the way down to the bottom.
