Good to hear some pinkies are getting into the system there
Any ideas what the larger fish was? Sounds like it could have been a mackerel?

i have no idea i did video it on my mobile but it said it wont let me put it on here,
been searching the web for pics of it, havent found one yet.
It was blue about 60cm + long , was a fat fish had 6 white stripes on top from middle of body to tail, it was eating crap off the rocks near the edge if i had my net might of been able to catch it lol (always forget my net)
if that helps... let me know what you think it is.

G'day ausfishing,

Nice catch!

Hey, I have seen zebrafish cruise up and down the rock walls at the Warmies / Hotties, wasn't too sure if you meant the stripes were horizontal, or vertical?

If, it was a zebrafish, they eat prawns and worms, even garden worms, and are great fighters, dirty fighters at that, and taste good on the plate, as long as you gut em straight away, and place em in the ice box.
