a few weeks back i got a 8kg carp down in keilor

Bit of a bump but I ripped 3 70cm carp and a few reddies yesterday.

Went down with 2 mates yesterday near overnewton college, only managed one redfin on the first cast then not even a nibble after that

i used to fish there years back , if you can get permission from one of the farmers that have propertys down that dirt road were overnewton is your laughing

Yeah thats exactly where, passed the gate down the dirt road, went down there again 2 days ago and didnt get anything again, but i did see a big fat carp sunbaking in the shallow water, didnt want my corn though...

Surprising quite afew st. albans/kealba/keilor fisho here! .... I lives in St. Albans as well, but I fish mostly off my kayak @ PPB ... need to get into river/landbase fishing more I think .....

hey guys,

was near at keilor last week underneath the bridge and man, we did not catch anything until we were about to leave, then bang!!!

i will put up photo huge carp, i seriously think it was about 6-8kg, there is monster there :-)

Some good reports , it's one of my favourite rivers due to being so close , Iv fished it for as long as I can recall , I'm in my mid 20s now and love it just as much as when I used to ride the pushy down there haha

Keep the reports coming , organ pipes has some good trout in it , altho that's Jackson's creek
