Well done mate. But just remember for future reference. Your only allowed to keep 3 fish over 40cm in a bag. All other fish have to be under 40cm and above 28cm.
Didnt he say he returned.all fish but one?

Technically he hasn’t done anything wrong can keep up to 3 over 40.

I went down there for a quick flick after about 11 this morning, didn't get a touch on plastics, but all the bait guys were catching a few. The water is super murky and tea coloured from the rain. Give it a few days for it to settle and it should clear up and go off again.
