Docklands trevally

Post by bilby » Sun Jun 05, 2016 9:35 pm

Went out today with my brother for another mulloway attempt - one run (and another suspect hit) but no hook ups. We did manage a 29cm pinky and a surprise (very chunky) 35cm trevally as by catch, though.

This is the biggest one we've caught this close to the CBD, so pretty happy with this result.

Pretty keen to hit up that side of town, never fished the mighty yarra that far down. Only fresh

I wonder how one that size would go as a live bait.

Did you eat it mate? I wouldn't trust that water in the docklands.
