If your going to fish docklands area and using yabbies, try fishing the pylons. Unweighted yabbies are irresistible for those bream!

Good luck!

And don't do what I did and not burley. Apparently it's important.
Man at the tackle store said blades worked well, especially dark colors since they look like mussels.

What's some good burley
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

I have found that bream tend to bite best at dawn and dusk, on bait or lures. Although I do fish lures more often in the morning and bait at last light.

Yes you can catch bream during the day, i went for a walk at lunchtime today at docklands and saw some people catch bream and mullet on the new quay side. They were fishing off some of the boat moorings and used fresh mussel as bait.

Yes, while you can catch bream during the day I find that periods of changing light to be when I catch more of my bream. During the day, the bream tend to sit much tighter in the structure, pontoons etc and if you're lure or bait isn't in the right spot they won't be inclined to come out and chase it. Generally, timing periods of low light with a period of tidal movement towards a high tide or just after a high tide is a good bet.
