28/08/2011 - Yarra / Maribyrnong Rivers .

Well i've been consistantly fishing both rivers as ussual , the Yarra has seen me get a some keeper size bream . Alot of hours put in using fresh bass yabbies & fresh shrimp , the Maribyrnong has been dead with little to no action . hopefully with spring fast appraching we can see some action in both rivers , my live baits for mulloway have gone untouched also . ;)

Mate, try chicken.
Didnt believe it would work but threw some in the Marbi near highpoint and caught plenty of bream. Nice small hooks and light set up and all is good. Just watch out for bloody eels!

ooh dont worry i've used chicken in the past & it works  , but i have far better results using live yabbies & shrimp etc . anyway the Yarra river has always produced more & better quality bream e.g big bream than the Maribyrnong river IMHO . :wink1:
