My PB Bream in the Maribyrnong is 44.5cm & that's with 30yrs of fishing the system . I notice every so often you may get a few 39cm beasts , but to crack the 40+cm mark isn't easy .

I hooked a fish yesterday between 35-40cm but it cut me off I was so pissed

my pb on the bream has been 39cm both at werribee and the nong and your right its very hard to crack the 40cm mark , i'd love to know where these 4kg bream , that they are supposed to grow up to, are, after 30 years of chasing them i've never seen one
