Bream in merimbula

Post by crazycod » Fri Jun 10, 2011 10:35 pm

If you want to have a really good bream fishing trip my advice is to go to merimbula and fish in the estuarys with bass yabbies. My dad and I were recommended by friends to ggo there and it was worth the trip. We caught around 15 bream in 30min. Once I caught a bream I baited up again and in 5 seconds I was on again. It's not just good for bream though it's also good for all types a species like flaties, redrock cod, flounder and tons more. We went there in the hotter months and it was great apart from the sunburn. It's a good holiday place too.

They were all around 30cm. The other fishing we did was squidgy and we caught a couple
Of flathead and trevally. We also did a fishing charter. ;)

30cm, thats awesome. I'll be doing a lot of surf fishing since we're staying pretty much right on the beach, but also near back lake.

It is at the back estuary behind a surf beach. I'm not sure what the name if it is though. Sorry. smh
