Werribee South Estuary
Caught 5 breams (29-30cm) and a few big mullets at Werribee South boat ramp last Sunday on high tide.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work.

Re: Werribee South Estuary
Started at around 11am. it was so very windy & cold. tide was low but rising & current was strong. used running sinker with No.4 long hook & beach worm as bait. caught nothing but weeds all morning til around 3pm when the tide was near high & wind subsiding. caught all the fish in 2 hrs. when home at around 5pm satisfied.

Re: Werribee South Estuary
Hi Everyone,
I am just new to this forum today and have not long ago moved from Brisbane. I love my Bream fishing and always found the best time to catch them was 2 hours before high tide and 2 hours after im not sure if it is the same here but this always worked well for me.
I am currently living in the Melton area would Werribee be the closest place for me to do some Bream fishing?
I cant wait to put a rod in the water again as it has been a while.
Any help will be appreciated
Cheers
Matt
