Had a relo years ago in Wagga that had a fish n chip shop. Long story short was their fish cakes were carp. I helped him catch some once as a teenager and could never understand why he wanted to keep them. Years later my dad told me about him owning the fish shop and selling carp fish cakes. He was a mongrel of a person. We never thought much of him.
But they are fun to catch. :thumbsup:

I’m guessing their scallops weren’t exactly as advertised either
