The Maribyrnong I knew was a back brown dirty water run with busted boats on it.

Incredible post with some great tips. This needs to be stickied.
Thanks Fish-Hunter!

I second the rubbish thing at the end of your post. The Werribee Breakwall has been up for not very long. It's absolutely filthy, littered with cans, bottles, empty bait packets, chip packets etc. Really disgusting behaviour.

 Another awesome post Fish Hunter. Thanks for sharing. Great pics.

As a matter of interest - is there an annual mulloway run or is it all year in the Maribyrnong?

I reckon it's all year, as Mulloway are resident in the system.

An excellent post - I am yet to catch my first bream from Maribyrong, having had more success out of the Yarra, but I think with some of these tips maybe I can break that drought

Thank you fish hunter. I live right nearby those spots and have never caught a bream. I've always targeted snapper as I feel I can eat them as they are a transitory species. I will def give them a go in the next month or two. Top work.
Any nearby places to get the fresh bait you speak of?
