mitchell bream

Post by Tackleberry » Sun Dec 11, 2016 9:00 pm

thanks to maz for the inspiration to give the river a bash after reading his creek bream thread

so today at 19:00 I put the boat in and went to my usual spot but the fishing was slow , you had

to really work hard for every fish as they are very subtle ATM and as maz said it was also a very

light fight at 1st I thought it was a flatty but then I seen the silver bronze flash so went for the

net .

this was the only pic worthy for the day as the others were all 35cm and under .

That's incredible it's almost a shame to keep them, personally I release all my bream as I don't like the taste of them, however I don't begrudge anyone who does keep them for a feed everyone's palate is different.
