Adults eat no more than once a week, children once a month, pregnant women not to consume any fish or eels.

Re: Yarra Bream
I have been taking quality Bream this week in the Yarra, with fish up to 38cm & the avarage size 32+cm. I fished yesterday several locations & got not one bite, the fish have moved on. :water:

Re: Yarra Bream
Possible - been a few footballs around lately... Last year spawning was closer to November but it's not exactly clockwork. They're definitely in pre-spawn condition. I'd expect they're in the process of heading upstream to the spawning grounds but some aggregations may spawn earlier (or later). If you think they've moved on worth checking further up the system this time of year. Big flushes of fresh will push them down the system (especially in the yarra since its a salt wedge estuary and the bream will relate to the seaward edge of the wedge) but in general the drive around this time should be to head up system ready to spawn.
But then again they're bream and when you think you have them figured they prove you wrong again
