40% off trions when I was in anaconda Sunday.
I'd by looking at a trion 2-4kg and a sienna 2500 loaded with 8lb power pro or similar. Can't go wrong for the $$

Sienna 1000 or 2500 on one of the forcemaster rods at ca, would end up costing $89 and its a great combo! The rod is very nice, had play woth one today!

Motackle are doing the Trions for $69 at the moment from memory. Maybe see if a store will price match that. Otherwise there's a few deals around on combos that might suit your fancy.

I'm leaning towards the Catana 1-3kg with a decent reel, although the posts recommending the Trions led me to this which is over budget by a fair way but tempting none the less: http://www.hookedonline.com.au/pflueger ... bo-1-3kg-2
Dinga has one too, they don't specify the reel but I assume it is the same make but smaller size: http://www.dinga.com.au/pflueger-trion- ... 15907.html
Does anyone have experience with that reel? It's a Trion 30SWX that normally retails for $90

Re: Can anyone recommend a bream/trout combo under $150
Looks like the rod is taken care of now (cheers Cam), now I've got work out which reel to get with it. Any ideas? about $120 is the most I really want to spend.
So far I've found a bunch in that $60-120 range but it's hard to narrow it down. It might see use on the kayak so something that won't dissolve in salt water would be ideal.

I'm looking at those, the Symetre and Daiwa Exceler are also in the price range too.
