Top 10 Bream spots around Melbourne and a little further out

Post by ChrisD » Mon Oct 16, 2017 1:25 pm

Quite a while back I started a thread - Top 10 Carp fishing spots round Melbourne - and thought it would be interesting to do the same for Bream.

From my own experiences I would put the Yarra past the sports precinct as the spot that gets me the most fish - not many big ones - but where I get the most all up.

I'm sure the docklands and the Maribyrnong, would also make the list.

Where else would people suggest?
(oh not looking for exact locations, or anyone's secret spot - very generic answers are all this is about)

Congrats on the breams x2 in the Maribynong ChrisD

Other locations quickly top of my head - Station Pier, Brighton Pier, Mordialloc (pier & channel), Patterson River & Mouth, Mt Martha for metro locations.

A little further out East - the Gippsland system with many of the estuary. For the West side - all the rivers system along the Great Ocean Road - Barwon Heads, Breamlea, Anglesea, Airey Inlet, Lorne.
