Just go give it a try and then you can be the one sharing information! Use a paternoster rig with pillies as bait, then you have the chance of catching pretty much anything

I haven't fished there for a few years, but when I was there I had some luck on the squid.

Some people will cast from the car park and catch pinkies at times, maybe a salmon. As the area around the pier is shallow I guess you are in with a chance for flathead, maybe some gars.

just search the site for black rock. there's a ton of info already on here about most of the common places to fish around melbourne.

If you haven't looked for the info, don't get sh**ty when people don't want to repeat the same stuff.

Went spear fishing there about a week ago, saw a few gars to the left of the car park( no chance of me hitting one), and a few big flathead, saw a big girl I say 70cm decide to leave her to breed, and a snook near the wreck. From what I saw pinkies ( nothing huge 30-35cm)were caught on the pier and some flounder. Use a paternoster rig with pilchard as bait.
Here fishy fishy.......

Its not the bay. It is called fishing.

You get some good days and you get some bad one.

If you get good fish everytime, then we should call the place, fish market
