Hi guys!
Popped down at 7:15 to a very crowded jetty. Fished until 8:45. I wasnt getting anything on plastics or bait, so I switched over to a squid jig and caught a pretty average sized one, a hod measuring 29cm. Everything went quiet after that so i packed up and left.
A few other squidders caught 4-5 squid each, but i was still using placcys when the squid were hitting pretty much anything. People not squidding didnt even catch a toadie.
Jigs used: Gillies squid jig in pink with red foil
Also, I lost a jig down there and will be looking to get another one. Are there any good rui jigs for dusk/night? If so, could you please send the ebay link?
Cheers

That's a decent sized squid. The yamashita warm glow R08 is by far my most consistent jig. NOT the UV one, the other one.
