Beaumaris Jetty

Post by wem21 » Fri Dec 16, 2016 9:56 pm

Hello fellow fishos,
So I went looking around on google maps and found Beaumaris Pier. From the road facing towards the ocean there is a little jetty to the left of the big pier next to a boatramp. Looks like a good spot for whiting and flathead, so going there after my holidays in malaysia.

Just wondering if (a)the little jetty is accesible, (b)can I actually get into the yacht club after dark and (c)what species can you catch there and is it safe to go there alone after dark?

Cheers

Both piers are accessible after dark, the water is very shallow until about 2/3 the way along the big jetty. Should be fine to fish after dark.

Most species are available. It's known for squid and garfish. Quite a few big snapper are taken off the main jetty in season
