What brings them in?? Is there lots of live bait in the water or berly put in?.. think there would be some at tooradin but never hear or see them latley...

Yea I have noticed a lot of baitfish mate. I never have to burley they are either there or not.
But when I used to bait fish for them burley was important.

I got to join you some time LX ,when i get off my ass. I love catching them too.At one stage i was going every second day and all we ate for 4 weeks was fish fish fish.I would fillet and crumb them,everybody loved them,no bones and a few special ingredients.

Yes mate! They taste great crumbled ans steamed with ginger if you know how to prepare them. Personally I love eating them :thumbsup:

Went n tried a port melb pier around 3 yesterday for a hour... Few spinning for salmon but no salmon...might try again this arvo
