Fish ID please!

Hi folks

Can someone ID this fish? It was caught (and released) off Black Rock on the weekend. Is it a juvenile Gummy?

Yea I was going to say the same thing. Gummies don't have those black spots on the tail and body. A baby seven gill shark :)

100% juvey 7 giller, id put money on there being no dorsal fin under ur finger there

Find some other appendage to stick in it's mouth then
