Fishing Report 18/5/15

Post by ango » Tue May 19, 2015 8:51 pm

Hello All,
Managed to get the boat out yesterday & had a crack at flatties on SP's out off Aspendale, no luck as it happens, then went over to Ricketts and had a few drifts for calamari, no luck there either, not a surprise as the water was still a bit discoloured from all the rain, finally anchored up off Parkdale & fished for gars, got about 8 or 9, not much size to them, it has a been a difficult season as far as gars go, they have been hit & miss & when you find them the big one are few & far between. We need a run of calm conditions and no rain for the fishing to come good, anyway beats working.
Cheers from
Ango.
