Fishing Report.

Post by ango » Fri May 01, 2015 2:48 pm

Went out for the first time for quiet a while, nice calm day, plenty of dolphins about and a couple of seals too. Fished a small reef out from Aspendale where I have caught the odd good size flathead on SP's & would you believe it, first cast and I was into one, but, after many more casts still only the one so I moved out from Parkdale Yacht club & threw a squid jig around, ended up with two, then anchored up & fished for gars, got about 15 or so, not big ones but not too small, anyway good to see them about again, and that's it, came in around lunch time.

Cheers from
Ango.

Those dolphins where just off Carrum and came and visited as I was trolling my way to Frankston for squid, ended up with 5 flatties and bagged on squid, it was so clear you could sight cast the squid.

Cheers Jeff
