is closed for repairs Bangg

Got there yesterday and found it all fenced off. Toadies are in plague proportions in the creek though, counted over 30 in one spot between 2 boats.

"Mordialloc Pier will be closed from 6am to 6pm Monday to Saturday from 22 October to mid-December 2014 due to renewal and repair works. Additional closures may be in place outside of advertised times if conditions are deemed unsafe. Visit the project page for more information. at Mordialloc Pier

Not really you can still fish it after 6pm and all day Sunday.

can anyone confirm if it really does open after 6pm? I was there until 7 on Saturday, didn't look open to me.

Let's wait until smack bang the prime time for snapper season then close one of the best snapper platforms within an hour of the city..... Victorialogic strikes again.

The problem is there are no fishermen on the council !!

If there was they would understand how closing a pier in prime fishing time disrupts a fishermens life !!

lots of people going to be butt hurt. specially the ones that hog the whole pier like its theirs all the time.

There goes a Fishing spot off the list. I guess the fish will be celebrating their independence till mid December :-P
Best so far: 47cm aus salmon, 41cm mullet, 40cm king George whiting , 38cm Bream, 35cm flathead, 33 cm pinky, squid 20cm. 2 sting rays caught caught, 1 took a rod as a souvenir. Need to catch snapper... :fish11:
