Ricketts Point

Post by JoshW » Mon Jul 07, 2014 4:42 pm

Hey guys,

Went out from Ricketts this morning in the yak. Was the first time I've had it out in 4 months, so was great to be on the water. Started off pretty well with plenty of pinks smacking my 2.5' Zman Grubz just outside the marine park, mostly around 30cm but one up at 38cm which I kept. 1 grub lasted me all morning which was great compared to going through 1 gulp TB worm per fish usually! Once the pinks shut down a bit around 10am, decided to try for a few squid as i've never really targeted them before. I was pleasantly surprised to get 4 around 20cm hoods, which ill share with the family for dinner!

Decided to take the GoPro for a run and throw a bit of a video together so check it out if you like. Its nothing exciting, but haven't made one in a while! Watch in HD!

Put your hands on, put your hands on
Put your hands on, put your hands on

Put your hands on, put your hands on
Put your hands on, put your hands on
Put your hands on, put your hands on
Put your hands on, put your hands on

'Cause the way that we feel right now
Oh Lord, it may go away

Yeah, they are mate. Pricey but easily the best $200 I've ever spent. The boots are Mirage dive booties.

I also wear them with trackies underneath spinning the surf and wading flats, keeps me very warm and dry.
